Tuxedo

“Tux” is a 4 month old black and white domestic medium hair kitten. He is a male and will be neutered prior to adoption. Tux was dropped off at a local animal hospital with his sibling, another black and white kitten. Both were about 7 weeks old but the little kitten weighed only half a pound and was a bag of bones, just clinging to life. He quickly succumbed to his illnesses and passed away.  Tux was in better shape, but still very sick. His eyes were badly infected and almost swollen closed with green discharge. He had an upper respiratory infection, intestinal parasites and was very weak. With good nourishment and medical care, he bounced back to life and began to act like a normal happy kitten. He is now full of energy and loves to sprint back and forth in a room, then hug his toys and kick them with his back feet, sometimes sending them into the air. When he settles down he will sit peacefully on a lap, doing his “happy paws”. He would make a great addition to any home and would be good with kids since he is so used to being handled. He is a little unsure about dogs but in time will probably get used to them.
